I've owned this Push Button Pantera for over 12 years...  It was in need of
a re-freshening.  The paint was starting to show its age, It had a bad
syncro on third gear, and my gas tank had started leaking.
Time for a restoration.....

November 2007.....My father and I pulled out the engine, transaxle, and gas
tank....  The transaxle is going to Colorado for a rebuild.

My father will re-paint the entire car in the same Alfa red.
We pulled out the engine with the
transaxle attached.
This is my Dad....Standing next to his '26 T Hot Rod.
He restored this car back to original and drove it like that for a few years
and even won some trophies at the antique car shows.
See his cars Here.

Then  he decided to hot rod it.  It now has a Total Performance frame and
a 350 Chevy engine.

Thanks Dad!!
The ZF Transaxle was
shipped to Dennis at
Pantera Performance
Center in CO for a
rebuild.
We figured we might as
well put in a new
clutch......
The motor mount
bushings were replaced
because they were dry
rotted.
Counter
Engine Compartment
smoothed and Primed.
The Engine is back in...

Still waiting for the ZF...
New Rotary AC Pump.....
Sanding down the old
paint.....
The driver side
headlight opening
never lined up well
with fender.

Its been repaired and
lines up well now.
This is the weak spot on
these cars....where the
roof meets the quarter
panel..... When the body
flexes, the paint tends to
crack here....

The original lead was
removed and new steel
welded in.
The Zf Transaxle was
completley restored by
Dennis at
Pantera
Performance Center in
CO.
New Steel welded in....
Much stronger than
stock...
Looks Great Dad!!!
Thank You

I used Intercity Lines to ship the car back to Connecticut....

They came highly recommended and now I also recommend them.
